Hi Nicholas,

Thank you for contacting Google Domains Support Team.

I got your concern about website integration for example.com. To point your domain to your website you need to create an A record and CNAME record.

To create an A and CNAME record, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to Google Domains.
  2. Click the domain you want to update.
  3. Open the menu Menu.
  4. Click the DNS icon l4V787coyMwrT9T3VvETyito6vwLmcLN7Iqp9U1txB4gdt6lH6T5BThpttpLMf66OgEkJ825D6cYurKu7NTv68eMqdMpOjtPAKFFmx9zTkiTr-poZP4VyG4DUzWjgs8cKJS1GhY.
  5. Scroll to the Custom resource records section. Set the custom resource record type your web host requires.
  6. To create a specific type of record, follow these steps:  to set up the A records and point it to your website IP address enter below value:
    • Name: @
    • Type: A
    • TTL (Time to live): 1h
    • Data:  23.111.70.25.
    • Click Add

             Create another entry for CNAME.

    • Name: www
    • Type: CNAME
    • TTL (Time to live): 1h
    • Data: example.com
    • Click Add

Depending on your location, DNS changes may take a propagation period of several minutes or up to 24 to 48 hours to take effect across the entire internet.

If you have other questions or if your concern was not answered to your satisfaction, please feel free to reply to this email so we can continue to assist you; you may also visit the Google Domains Help Center

Thanks!
