The Sentinel Life New Vantage product supplies some of the most competitive premiums in the market for whole life insurance. One advantage that you get after you include the Sentinel Life New Vantage in your portfolio is that it will enable you to cater to seniors with a lower-income. With a successful contribution of more than 60 years of service, you and your clients can expect outstanding results.
Level and guaranteed premiums are offered by All New Vantage Plans that include easy application and underwriting process.
Death benefits differ with each client’s respective plan, depending upon the applicant’s health. This enables us to provide coverage to those individuals who, otherwise would be rejected. The death benefits in All New Vantage Plans are as follows:
- New Vantage (i): Here, the death benefit equals the total face value (amount) listed in the policy.
- New Vantage (ii): In this product, over the initial 3 years, the death benefit gets graded. In the first year, the death benefit amounts to 30% of the face value. In the second year, it becomes 70% of the face sum; in the third year and beyond it amounts to 100% of the face value. The death benefit is 100% of the face sum amount during the initial 2 years of the policy, if there’s an accidental death.
- New Vantage (iii): Here, there is modification of the death benefit for the first two years of the policy. The initial two years witnesses the death benefit equaling the paid premium amount with 10% interest annually and 100 percent of the face value in the 3rd year and next.
The New Vantage Plans have been Structured for:
- People who wish for final expense coverage and want to avoid the problems of underwriting.
- People who have been earlier rejected for the coverage with different carrier. They can qualify for one of the New Vantage Plans.
- People who are tough in getting placed.
Riders Available for New Vantage (i) {only}
- Waiver of Premium Rider (WOP):Issue ages from 15 to 55 can avail this benefit. On the policy anniversary, the rider expires. It is followed by the 60th birthday of the insured person or the base policy’s ending premium payment, whatever happens to be first. If the insured individual becomes disabled permanently and completely, the rider contributes for the waiver of the policy premiums. Complete and permanent disability is determined when the insured person acquires an injury or experiences an illness which stops him/her from carrying an employment as per the person’s qualifications. The insured individual should have experienced consecutive 6 months’ continuous disability before a claim is filed for.
- Accidental Death Rider (ADR): Issue ages from 0 to 60 can avail this benefit. On the policy anniversary, the rider expires. It is followed by the 65th birthday of the insured person or the base policy’s ending premium payment, whatever happens to be first.
The death benefit will be paid if the death results arrive on the facts (from any cause) based upon an accidental injury of the body. The insured person must die within the time frame of 120 days from the day of injury. If death results from a suicide attempt, any armed rift involvement, while attempting a major crime, as a crew member who is riding or operating the aircraft, or descending willingly while being in flight – no Accidental Death Benefit will be given. $1.25 is the rate per thousand.
- Children’s Protection Rider (CPR):Here, every insured child above the age of 15 days receives $1000 from each unit of the term insurance. On the earliest of the following mentioned dates the coverage expires:
- Child’s 25th birthday followed by the policy anniversary.
- 65th birthday of the insured parent followed by the policy anniversary.
- The final premium payment for the parent who is insured.
Children who are dependent may be considered for the application provided they have not yet turned 18. The children who can be eligible applicants are step-children, children adopted legally and natural children only. The insured parent’s child (after policy issue) automatically gets covered after an age of 15 days. The maximum stretch of a unit is 5 and the minimum size is half of a unit or the coverage of parent, whatever may prove to be less. The premium (annual) unit is $10 each.
Coverage of insured child grows to be paid up to the date of expiry, when the insured parent passes away. During the insurance tenure, the coverage of the child may be transformed into a permanent insurance plan without insurability evidence. The Permanent plan is offered for the amount that should not be exceeding the amount of current coverage. The alteration of the plan, if done on the expiry date can make up for a value up to 5 times offered by the rider.
